DELHI HIGH COURT REFUSES REQUEST FOR URGENT HEARING BY CONGRESS LEADER SAJJAN KUMAR.

The Delhi High Court today refused to give early hearing to Congress leader Sajjan Kumar's plea for anticipatory bail. Yesterday the lower court had rejected his anticipatory bail plea saying that the allegations against him on "face value" do not appear to be completely false.Sajjan Kumar is scheduled to appear before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Sharma on February 17, 2010. Facing a threat of arrest, Sajjan Kumar approached Delhi High Court pleading that his plea for anticipatory bail should be urgently heard.
